The third bedroom has 2 twin beds that easily convert into another king. The den sofa offers 2 additional twin beds. Dramatically designed and professionally decorated with sophisticated yet relaxed modern furnishings, every room is complemented by a tasteful collection of contemporary artwork. The modernist approach to architecture, interior design, and art found throughout the home is based on the historic 1930’s Bauhaus school in Germany that combined teachings on fine arts, crafts, and design. Spread over three floors, the house offers comfortable living spaces. The main floor is centered around the great room with soaring views and a floating fireplace suspended from the 20ft. high ceiling. A fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with service for 12 and seated dining for 8 boasts top-of-the-line appliances and espresso maker. The cupboards are supplied with spices, paper-goods, and condiments. A BBQ grill and ample patio furniture make outdoor dining and relaxing a breeze. A state-of-the-art sound system lets you enjoy music anywhere in the house, as well as outside on the decks and patio. Listen to internet radio, plug in your I-pod, or bring your own CD’s. The house is configured with wireless internet, providing connection inside or out. Just in case you have to do business, the office is equipped with telephone, copier, fax machine, and scanner. For stay-at-home relaxation there is an entertainment center with 42” TV/DVD/cable and videos, a library full of books, board games and puzzles, and children’s toys. Binonculars are at hand to watch the amazing bird life, sea life, and marine traffic. Sea otters, harbor seals, osprey, eagles, ducks, geese, deer, foxes, coyotes, raccoons and the occasional killer whale are all visitors to the bay.
