First Friday ART Gallery Walk: Every first Friday of the month.

Downtown Winslow galleries including: Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, Bainbridge Public Library, Director’s Gallery, Danger, Island Gallery, and Roby King Galleries feature new exhibits, wine and refreshments from 6pm-8pm.

Winslow also now features three different wine tasting rooms.

The Bloedel Reserve offers a range of live music, from string quartets to kids’ performers such as Caspar Babypants to a summer blues fest. Intimate indoor concerts take place in the Visitor’s Center and in two larger outdoor venues in the summer—under their large tent on the lawn overlooking Puget Sound or in the Meadow near the Sheep Sheds.

Chilly Hilly Bike Ride on Bainbridge Island, WA:  February

Chilly Hilly has been kicking off the cycling season in the Northwest on the last Sunday in February for the past 42 years. The 33-mile route around Bainbridge Island starts with a scenic early morning ferry ride across Puget Sound from Seattle, or you can join the crowd directly on Bainbridge Island.

Modern Quilt Festival in Downtown Bainbridge Island, WA: September

This Festival is a celebration of quilts and quilters held outdoors along Winslow Way, Bainbridge Island, WA.  As a non-juried show, quilters of all levels and styles are welcome to enter their work.

Grand Old Fourth: July 4th

July 4th celebration features an All Day Street Fair, Bohemian Village Arts & Crafts Fair, Beer & Wine Garden, Classic Car Show and the “Zaniest Small Town Parade in America.” The Bainbridge Review calls it a “huge bash that most residents and many visitors consider a don’t-miss affair.”
